Four professors, including three BVU alumni, have been selected as finalists for BVU’s 2013 George Wythe Award for Excellence in Teaching. They are:

• Joni Anderson, assistant professor of management
• Jerry Johnson SL’85, assistant professor of digital media
• Mary Mello-Nee SL’85, associate professor of art
• Dr. Jason Shepherd SL’99, assistant professor of computer science

The recipient of the award, which was endowed by the late Paul and Vivian McCorkle, will receive a sabbatical and a $30,000 stipend for faculty development. The winner will be announced at the Faculty and Staff Recognition Dinner on May 24.
