IMPACT, the Buena Vista University campus ministry organization, and the student ministry leadership team will be taking part in an ecumenical worship service for the Storm Lake area community from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 18 at Schaller Memorial Chapel.

The event is sponsored by IMPACT and the Gospel Fellowship, a network of local church and ministry leaders.  

Other BVU groups taking part in the service include Voices of Praise, a student gospel choir; DIMES (Divine, Intelligent, Mature, Exquisite Sisters), a gospel initiative designed to provide opportunities for students to praise and worship in song and dance; and SOLS (Spirits Only Living Strong), a Christian outreach organization that serves the campus and the Storm Lake community.

The service will feature a blend of multi-ethnic, multi-lingual and multi-generational music and worship.
