ACES Student Life Event: Know Your Strengths: Essential for Success

We can learn a lot from the animal kingdom! Each animal is created to be what it’s intended to be – and so it is with you. Instead of comparing yourself with others and wishing you had the strengths or personalities they have, learn to focus on your own unique strengths and qualities. In this program, after you complete a mini self-assessment to determine your personality “color,” you’ll engage in a fun and enlightening exercise to examine the characteristics and attributes of each color. You will gain new awareness that there are various ways that people lead/think/act, and that you lead best when you aren’t trying to be somebody you’re not, but rather lead from who you really are. In order to truly succeed in school, careers, and our lives, it’s essential to understand ourselves so we can utilize our talents to achieve success. Kathy Peterson, successful businesswoman and owner of PeopleWorks Inc. will lead the session.
